    Three excuses, handled

    Time. Gear. Know-how.

Most people don't skip workouts because they're lazy. They skip because they don't know what to do with the 20 minutes they actually have.

    "I don't have time."

    Pick 10 minutes

Every workout fits the time you choose, from 10 to 60 minutes, warm-up included. Busy Tuesday, longer Saturday? Set each day separately.

    "I don't have equipment."

    The floor is enough

Hotel room, garage, or full gym. StrongWell builds around what's there, and nothing else.

"I don't know what to do."

    That's our whole job

Every move comes with a picture of the start and finish, plain-English cues, and the one mistake to avoid. A built-in timer tells you when to work and when to rest.

    How it works

Answer a few questions. Then press start.

    1. Tell us your goals

Pick up to three: lose weight, build muscle, get stronger, more energy, move without pain, or stay strong and steady.

    2. Tell us your week

Which days you train, how long each day, and what equipment you have.

    3. Get your program

A plan to help you achieve your goals, around your schedule.

    4. Press start

The timer calls every interval. You just follow along and check it off.

    Built for every level

    Day one or year ten.

StrongWell meets you where you are, then moves you forward. The same short workouts, programmed very differently depending on where you're starting.

    Level 1

    Brand new

    Start with Foundations.

    • 4 weeks to learn the moves with light weights
    • Full-body sessions and low-impact cardio
    • Machines and dumbbells before barbells
    • Easy effort targets you can trust
    Level 2

    Getting back into it

    Rebuild the habit.

    • Bodyweight moves start a level up
    • Barbell basics come back in
    • Effort climbs each week, then a recovery week
    • Move up a level when you're ready
    Level 3

    Training consistently

Fit more work into less time.

    • Supersets pack more sets into your session
    • Pick full body, upper/lower, or push/pull/legs
    • The same main lifts all block, so you can add weight
    • Harder effort weeks, then a deload
    Level 4

    Advanced

    Train with real intent.

    • Top sets and back-off sets on your main lifts
    • Ramp-up sets before heavy work
    • Squat, front squat, bench, deadlift, press, and row
    • Estimated one-rep max tracked on every lift

Every level runs in 4-week blocks: settle in, build, push, recover. Then the next block starts a little stronger.

    HIIT, done right

    Maximum results. Minimum minutes.

High-intensity interval training packs a real workout into short bursts of hard effort and short rest. StrongWell rotates five proven formats so your body never gets bored.

    40 / 20

    Intervals

Work 40 seconds, rest 20, move to the next exercise. Beginners start at 30 / 30.

    20 / 10

    Tabata

Eight rounds of 20 seconds all-out, 10 seconds rest. Four minutes that feel like ten.

    EMOM

    Every minute

Do the reps at the top of each minute. Whatever time is left is your rest.

    AMRAP

    As many rounds

A short list of moves. Cycle through as many rounds as you can before the clock runs out.

    Ladder

    Climb the reps

Two moves, alternating each minute. Reps climb by 2, then reset.

Just starting out or nursing a cranky knee? StrongWell switches to low-impact HIIT: no jumping, same heart rate.

    What's inside

Everything a personal trainer does. Minus the invoice.

    A program built for you

Your goal, your days, your minutes, your gear. StrongWell turns your answers into a 4-week plan.

    Coaching on every move

Start-and-finish illustrations, three cues, and one common mistake for every exercise. Don't like a move? Swap it in one tap.

    A timer that coaches you

Press start and follow along. An animated figure demonstrates each move while the timer calls work, rest, and what's next.

    Travel mode

On the road? One tap switches your workouts to a hotel gym or hotel room. Your home program picks back up when you're back.

    Progress you can see

Weekly streaks, personal bests, and milestones. Log your weights and StrongWell tells you when to add weight or move to a harder version.

    Built for real life

No-jumping and no-floor options, short-on-time versions that still count, and pick up right where you left off if you get interrupted.

    FAQ

    Straight answers.

Do I need a gym membership?

No. Pick "Just the floor" and every workout uses your bodyweight. Have a bench, a few dumbbells, or a pull-up bar at home? Tell StrongWell exactly what you own, down to the weights, and it only programs moves you can do.

What is HIIT, and is it safe for me?

HIIT means short bursts of hard work with short rests. If you're just starting, StrongWell uses low-impact moves and longer rests. If you have a heart condition or other medical concern, check with your doctor first.

I haven't worked out in years. Is this for me?

Yes. Choose "Brand new" and you start with Foundations: four weeks of light weights, full-body sessions, and low-impact cardio while you learn each move. When you finish a block, StrongWell offers to move you up.

I've been lifting for years. Will this actually challenge me?

Yes. Choose "Advanced" and your lifting days are built around barbell main lifts with ramp-up sets, a top set, and back-off sets, followed by supersets so a 45-minute session carries real volume. Effort climbs across each 4-week block, then deloads. StrongWell tracks your estimated one-rep max on every lift, and you can pick full body, upper/lower, or push/pull/legs.

Is 10 or 20 minutes actually enough?

For most people, a short workout done three or four times a week beats a long one done never. Consistency is what moves the needle.

Can I build muscle or get stronger with StrongWell?

Yes. Choose "Build muscle" or "Get stronger" and your strength days switch to straight sets with real rest periods: 8–12 reps for muscle, 4–6 for strength. Log each set and StrongWell tells you when to add weight. No equipment? You move up a ladder of harder bodyweight versions instead.

Can I work out six or seven days a week?

Yes. Six- and seven-day plans build in recovery days: a guided mobility flow and an easy walk, so you move every day without wearing down.

What if I miss a week?

Life happens. Miss a day and StrongWell offers a 10-minute version so your week still counts. Miss a whole week and your next week starts lighter, so getting back in feels doable. Short on time any day? Pick 10, 15, or 20 minutes and the shorter version still counts.

Can I put my workouts on my calendar?

Yes. Subscribe once in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook, and your workouts show up at the time you pick, with a 15-minute heads-up. Change your days, times, or goals and your calendar updates on its own.

Can I track my weight and measurements?

Yes. Record a starting point, set a goal weight or waist size, and check in once a week. You'll see a trend line, milestones, and how far you've come, including strength gains. You can track measurements only and skip the scale, and progress photos stay on your device.

Does StrongWell help with nutrition and water?

Yes, with simple daily habits instead of calorie counting: a water goal you can log in one tap, protein at every meal, fruit and vegetables, and sleep. Small habits, checked off daily, add up.

I have a cranky knee (or shoulder, or back). Can I still do this?

Yes. Tell StrongWell what's bothering you and it leaves out the exercises most likely to aggravate it, with knee, shoulder, lower back, and wrist options. It's not treatment, so check with a doctor or physical therapist if pain is sharp or lasting.

    Are there ab workouts?

Yes. Start a 5, 10, or 15-minute abs session from any day, including rest days, or have StrongWell add one to the end of every workout. Each session covers your whole middle: holds, upper and lower abs, and your sides. Standing options are there if getting on the floor isn't for you.

Will I plateau or get bored?

StrongWell is built to keep you progressing. Each 4-week block changes your focus: base, heavy, then volume. Main lifts rotate to a new variation every 8 weeks, accessories change each block, and HIIT days rotate among five formats. You can swap any exercise, keep favorites, hide ones you don't like, and choose how much variety you want. If a lift stalls for 5 workouts, StrongWell gives you a challenge set at a heavier weight to push you past it.

I travel a lot. Does StrongWell work on the road?

Yes. Turn on Travel mode, choose hotel gym or hotel room, and set your return date. Workouts switch for those days only, then your home program picks back up. You can also change any single day with "Where are you today?"

I'm in my 60s or 70s. Is StrongWell for me?

Yes. Choose "Stay strong and steady" for balance drills, everyday strength, walking, and mobility, with a counter or chair within reach. You can also turn off jumping and floor exercises. Check with your doctor before starting a new program.

    Is StrongWell safe for me?

StrongWell builds every program around your level, and you can choose no-jumping and no-floor options. It isn't medical advice, though. Check with your doctor before you start, especially if you're pregnant, have a heart or other health condition, or haven't exercised in a while. Read our .
